Synopsis

Nineteen years old and facing a long prison term for possessing marijuana, a young man becomes the unlikely catalyst for a protest. A group of middle-aged housewives, spurred by his plight, decide to stage a demonstration at the local police station. Their intention is to deliberately invite arrest on possession charges, with Maude tasked with securing the necessary supply. But acquiring it turns out to be unexpectedly difficult.
