Synopsis

Following Carol’s suggestion of an abortion, Maude found herself deeply weighing the advantages and disadvantages of motherhood at her age. Walter’s easygoing acceptance – his “whatever-you-want” stance – only complicated matters, leaving her struggling with her choice. Ultimately, considering every voice and perspective, she arrived at a final decision: she would not have the baby.
