Synopsis

In Matlock’s latest case, he champions a prosperous widow facing accusations of her husband's murder. Simultaneously, Michelle lends her expertise to defending a father charged with killing a drug trafficker—a trafficker whose dealings ensnared his child and, as it turned out, was also a police officer.
