Synopsis

Disgraced and weary, Matlock abandoned his legal career following a disastrous courtroom misstep and an embarrassing lapse in memory regarding a client’s name. Seeking solace, he retreated from the city with plans for some quiet fishing. However, when a hitchhiker he'd offered passage to met with a sudden, inexplicable end, Matlock found himself reluctantly drawn back into the world of investigation, compelled to uncover the truth behind the tragedy.
