Synopsis

Disgraced and weary, Matlock abandoned his legal career following a disastrous courtroom misstep and an embarrassing lapse in memory regarding a client's name. Seeking solace, he retreated from town with the intention of fishing. However, when a hitchhiker he’d offered passage to met with a sudden, unexplained death, Matlock found himself compelled to remain and unravel the mystery surrounding the incident.
