Synopsis

Returning to his hometown for a family gathering, Matlock found himself embroiled in trouble when the son of a friend’s nephew passed away, and his longtime rival stood accused of murder. To complicate matters further, it seemed the entire town harbored resentment toward him; many believed he considered himself superior, simply because he was a lawyer practicing in a large city.
