Synopsis

The sudden murder of assistant district attorney Howard Wright in his workshop prompts the attorney general to enlist Matlock as special prosecutor. With Michelle and Conrad assisting him, Matlock begins to delve into Wright’s history, uncovering evidence that he was spending sums far beyond what his salary could account for. Following leads left by the deceased, Matlock finds himself drawn into a complex legal battle concerning Maxwell Toys.
