Synopsis

Chris Reardon, a man passionately devoted to resurrecting the spirit of the sixties in the late eighties, found himself accused of murdering Mayor Brian Barelli. Reporter Paul O’Neill then brought Matlock to Chicago to handle the defense, firmly believing in Reardon’s innocence. Though initially hesitant, Matlock ultimately agreed to pursue the case after recognizing that O'Neill had misled him; he understood abandoning Reardon now would severely compromise his prospects.
