Synopsis

In Matlock’s latest case, he champions a Vietnamese fisherman and his son after a confrontation between the father and a prejudiced local angler results in the latter’s death. The Vietnamese man is then accused of murder, simply because harsh words were exchanged. But Matlock's defense extends beyond the fisherman himself; as he fights for justice, he finds himself increasingly targeted by the townspeople harboring racist sentiments.
