Synopsis

Matlock accepted the case representing a young maid accused of murdering her employer, at the behest of the deceased’s widow. The request itself was peculiar, yet it appeared Christina Ward intended to reveal the true nature of her late husband. A distinct awkwardness arose for Matlock when Charlene seemed to be developing an affection for Clark, the widow's son—an old college acquaintance of Charlene’s.
