Synopsis

Matlock agreed to represent a well-known actor facing charges of murdering the director of a sex therapy clinic – a man accused of leaking the actor’s identity to the media. However, Matlock now found himself with an unexpected complication: Cassie Phillips, a law student. Years ago, he'd made a casual remark suggesting she contact him about employment; she had clearly taken his words to heart, and her persistent presence was proving something of an inconvenience.
