Synopsis

The third heat of Mastermind will be held at Nottingham University. This year's four competitors are: Michael Crisp, an accountant, whose specialist subject is fictional naval heroes; Elizabeth Shaw, a schoolteacher, who will be quizzed on the reign of Elizabeth I of England; Jack Smith, a radar systems engineer, whose specialist is the history of radiophysics and radar up to 1945; and Ian Stevens, an office worker, who has chosen the English theatre since 1950.
