Synopsis

The semi-final takes place at Christ's Hospital Arts Centre in Sussex, where four finalists will vie for a place in the Final. The contenders are: Fred Housego, a licensed taxi driver, whose submission concerns the Collegiate Church of St Peter at Westminster; Christopher Pelly, a teacher, focusing on the life and works of Vladimir Nabokov; Edward Saunders, an architect, exploring the life of John Clare; and Elizabeth Shaw, a teacher, examining the life of the Duke of Wellington.
