Synopsis

The evening's competitors gather at the University of Bristol. They are: George Sheldrick, a local government officer, specializing in French medieval history from 987 to 1328; Lisa Duffin, a librarian, whose expertise lies in the life cycle and habits of the honeybee; Roger Pritchard, a civil servant, with knowledge of British warships from 1914 to the present day; and David Delvin, a medical journalist, who is also an amateur field and track athlete, covering the years 1855 to 1960.
