Synopsis

John Humphrys and the iconic black chair are back for a new season of television's most demanding quiz. Ninety-six contestants begin their journey toward the final, but only one will earn the title of Mastermind Champion. The initial round features topics ranging from Marvel Comics and Shakespearean comedies to the music of John Martyn and the life of Pu Yi, the last Emperor of China.
