Synopsis

The University of Nottingham hosts tonight’s “Battle of the Polymaths.” The participants represent a range of professions as varied as the academic disciplines they embody. This evening’s competitors are: Clifford Warner, a local government officer; Jennifer Smallman, a librarian; Reverend John Gibson, a priest; and John Hart, a schoolmaster.
