Synopsis

In the Grand Final of this series, John Humphrys poses the questions as six competitors vie for the title of Mastermind. Their specialist subjects range from the art of JMW Turner and the mysteries of alchemy to the musical wit of Tom Lehrer, the history of the Diggers, the lives of whales, dolphins, and porpoises, and the tumultuous history of Azerbaijan from 1917 to the present day.
