Synopsis

Tonight's edition of Mastermind features four new contestants from the Heritage Centre and Silk Museum in Macclesfield, facing the rigorous questioning of Magnus Magnusson. Les Pye, Constance Moore, Jonathan Norton, and Margaret Thomas will be taking the chair, each prepared to defend their chosen specialist subject. These subjects range from the history of Manchester United up to 1968, to the archaeology of Orkney, the novels of Evelyn Waugh, and the lives of Britain's most notorious poisoners.
