Synopsis

Tonight's semi-final features the following participants: Chantal Thompson, a trainee solicitor, whose presentation concerns the life and career of Montrose from 1612 to 1550; Hamish Cameron, a computer manager, who will discuss the life and times of Edward IV; Ian Mallinson, a retired schoolmaster, presenting on the life and reign of Akbar, 1542-1605; and Hilary Forrest, a teacher, focusing on the archaeology of Wessex from 2500 BC to AD 43.
