Synopsis

Tonight’s participants are Peter Hooper, an immigration officer specializing in British and American musical theatre from 1945 onward; David Edwards, a schoolteacher whose focus is Michael Faraday’s life and work; Mary Rattle, a housewife with expertise in the life and Shropshire novels of Mary Webb; and Allan Draycott, a part-time lecturer specializing in British politics since 1900. The program is hosted by Magnus Magnusson, broadcast from the Great Hall of Aston University.
