Synopsis

The program *Mastermind*, in its seventeenth series, marks its three hundredth broadcast with the participation of Magnus Magnusson from the Museum of Army Transport, Beverley. Contestants include Ian Sutton, an accountant, who has prepared for the specialist subject of Wines of Europe; Jane Mansergh, a museum curator, whose chosen field is *The English Detective Story* from 1794; Anthony Simpson, a company director, who will face questions on the Development of Nuclear Power; and Ralph Fent
