Magnus Magnusson of the University of Liverpool led a discussion on orchestral music from 1830 to 1950, joined by Alan Roberts (trainee licensee). Alastair Finch, a general practitioner, presented on the films of Cary Grant. Anne Hegerty, a freelance journalist, spoke about the life and works of Lorenz Hart. Finally, Steve Hall, a civil servant, discussed the life and works of Saki.
