Synopsis

The University of Exeter will host four further contestants vying for the title of Mastermind's 1988 champion. These challengers are: John Ingram, a former sales administrator currently unemployed; Stan Knight, a retired aircraft engineer; David Lapham, a prison officer; and Henry Boettinger, a consultant and author. Their specialist subjects are respectively: The life and works of Tolstoy; The coinage of Roman Britain; The Imperial Japanese Navy, 1865-1945; and the life and work of Alexande
