Mastermind has returned, commencing the year's competition with the first of sixty-four hopefuls vying for the title of 'Mastermind 1988'. The season begins at the University of Exeter, where the initial four contestants from the western and southern regions of England will convene in the Great Hall to determine who advances to the semi-finals.
