Synopsis

Following six months of rigorous competition that culminated in a new Mastermind scoring record, the five finalists from an initial pool of sixty-four now vie for the prestigious title of Mastermind 1986. Within the grand setting of McEwan Hall at the University of Edinburgh, one of these individuals will be awarded the specially engraved Caithness glass trophy by the Controller of BBC1, Michael Grade. The five contenders are: Michael Formby (chartered surveyor), specializing in the histor
