Synopsis

Magnus Magnusson hosts from the Great Hall of St Bartholomew's Hospital in London as four contestants from London and the south east compete for the Mastermind 1985 title. Derek West, a parish priest, will face questions on the life and works of Thomas Telford. Malcolm Fry, an electrician, will be tested on the life and works of Gustav Mahler. Catherine Walling, an assistant museum curator, will answer questions concerning the art and archaeology of Minoan Crete, from 2000 to 1450 BC. Iain Mc
