Synopsis

Worcester College of Higher Education will host the ninth preliminary round of Mastermind in 1984. The contestants are: Christopher Carter, a parish priest, who will be quizzed on British birds; Nick Morrell, currently unemployed, whose specialist subject is the life and works of Noel Coward; Malcolm Parnell, a publicity manager, who will face questions concerning the voyages of Captain Cook; and Anne Senior, a part-time teacher, who will be tested on the novels of Barbara Pym.
