Synopsis

Within the Aircraft Hall of the RAF Museum at Hendon, four finalists now compete for the 'Mastermind 1984' title. Mary Dicken, a school teacher, will face questions on the Reign of James I. John Hutchings, a probation officer, will be tested on the Novels of George Orwell. Bill James, an agricultural tractor driver, will delve into the Aircraft of World War II. And Tim Tatton-Brown, an archaeologist, will explore the Life and Works of Beethoven, conducted by a Director.
