Synopsis

This evening features presentations from Loughborough University of Technology, one of Britain's most recently established institutions. Hilary Aslett (schoolteacher) will discuss the History of New South Wales, covering the period from 1788 to 1850. Paul Brighton (research student) will present his work on the Life of W. E. Gladstone. Tom Chitty (bank manager) will speak about Arthur Wellesley, the Duke of Wellington. Isabelle Heward (schoolteacher) will examine British and American
