Synopsis

The third semi-final featured participants from St Aidan's College, Durham University. Ian Barton, a university lecturer, presented on Classical Greek and Roman architecture. Richard Beatty, a biologist, discussed the life and works of Oscar Wilde. John Mellor, an HGV driver, delivered a presentation on the life of Henry V. And James Murray, a teacher, explored the life and works of Renoir, the Director.
