Synopsis

From a field of forty aspiring cooks, eight have emerged as the most promising. The first of the semi-final rounds sees these eight compete in a team challenge: the Relay Invention Test. Divided into two teams of four, each group must collaboratively produce two dishes – a lamb-based main course and a pear-centric dessert. With only twenty minutes allotted to each team member, they must prepare their portion in complete silence, without communication amongst themselves.
