Synopsis

The culinary competition progresses to its tenth series with the fourth quarter-final, and the four accomplished winners from the preliminary rounds face immediate pressure. They must now demonstrate their abilities in a demanding test of palate and skill. Chef John Torode presents a challenge: poached and fried pepper chicken, herbed gnocchi, and a mushroom and tarragon sauce featuring three distinct varieties of mushrooms to identify – a dish requiring considerable technical proficiency.
