Synopsis

News reached Peter Parker that Doctor Octopus had formed an alliance with Arnim Zola and Hydra, launching an attack on the Tri-Carrier. The assault had taken S.H.I.E.L.D. by surprise, leaving Spider-Man the sole line of defense against the onslaught. To thwart the villains' ambitions to seize control of New York City, he gathered a new team, including a hesitant Scarlet Spider.
