Synopsis

The blast left Otto Octavius’s mechanical arms irrevocably bonded to him, a horrifying fusion of flesh and steel. Witnessing this transformation, Spider-Man perceived not tragedy, but an opening. He saw in the man’s plight a chance to forge an unlikely alliance, to draw “The Octopus” into the fold of heroism.
