When their small television finally gave out, Martin succumbed to the allure of a large-screen replacement, and paid for it using funds from their shared checking account. This provoked Gina’s considerable anger, leading her to insist he return the purchase; however, she was later found to have been making similar unauthorized expenditures herself.
