Synopsis

Peggy felt a sharp pang of jealousy as she realized every woman in the neighborhood seemed to be subjected to unwanted glances, except herself. In response, she laid out a ladder, a glass of milk, and a plate of cookies, a silent offering for the unseen visitor. Separately, Al managed to persuade Bud to abandon his frivolous pursuit of Kelly and instead offer her genuine assistance with her studies.
