Synopsis

The potluck had been a dismal failure. Not a single guest had appeared, leaving Amelia and Andrew with a mountain of food and a lingering sense of awkwardness. Now, they found themselves burdened by the unspoken expectation of goodwill, a feeling acutely amplified by the empty chairs and untouched dishes.
