Synopsis

He walked into the heart of Florida’s Everglades, a landscape where at least sixty tourists found themselves in need of rescue each year. He moved through the sawgrass and cypress, demonstrating how to build shelter from the elements, navigate treacherous terrain, and evade the dangers lurking within – the alligators, the rattlesnakes, the hidden sinkholes. He showed them how to find sustenance in the wild, eating frogs prepared in Seminole tradition and cooking turtle over an open fire.
