Synopsis

With their finances strained, Hal and Lois resolve to make Christmas gifts this year. As their family members surpass Hal’s efforts with thoughtful presents, he embarks on an increasingly elaborate fabrication about the gift he has planned for them. Driven to desperation, Hal resorts to stealing Malcolm's credit card and using it to purchase a ski vacation for the whole family.
