Synopsis

Reese’s new girlfriend, Beth, possesses a similar lack of wit to his own. Malcolm takes an immediate dislike to her, but a fondness blossoms between them, quickly eclipsing any initial reservations. Eventually, Beth ends their relationship. Reese is heartbroken; in a desperate act, he flees and enlists in the army, adopting a fabricated identity.
