It’s just another American program grappling with issues of racism and a general lack of intelligence. It's disheartening to see displays like those in this series—where phrases such as “white trash” are uttered by white characters seemingly to reinforce negative stereotypes—becoming commonplace, which sadly reflects a shift toward prejudice against white people within the United States. Apart from that troubling portrayal, the central character is incredibly foolish, consistently making errors and failing to gain any wisdom from them. Watching her actions often prompts the question of why she would do something so ill-advised. Her lack of understanding becomes frustrating for the viewer.
