Synopsis

Marianne arrived back from Luxembourg without her husband, yet boasting of a fortune exceeding even that of Canada. She was keen to fund Ira’s fledgling catalog venture with a generous, interest-free loan; however, his silent business partner unexpectedly intervened and blocked the arrangement.
