Synopsis

MacGyver and Pete had orchestrated a surprise party for a colleague, but when he failed to appear, MacGyver set out to find him. He discovered Kelly teetering on the edge of despair, contemplating ending his own life. When MacGyver inquired as to the cause of such desperation, Kelly revealed he'd been utterly defrauded by a cunning con artist who had stolen his life savings. MacGyver relayed this grim news to Pete, and together they resolved to recover Kelly’s lost funds from the swindler.
