Synopsis

The roar of the engines faded abruptly as Gloria navigated the turns of the Indianapolis 500. Simultaneously, across the city, television screens blanked, vehicles stalled on the racetrack beside her ground to a halt, and every electrical device within the stadium succumbed to an inexplicable silence.
