Synopsis

Hawkeye found himself deeply moved by the unwavering devotion of a young soldier, a G.I. battling leukemia, for his gravely injured comrade. The depth of the man’s concern resonated within him, yet Hawkeye struggled with the helplessness of knowing he couldn't offer a cure. Simultaneously, Father Mulcahy fretted over the approaching visit of a Cardinal, a prospect that filled him with quiet apprehension.
