Synopsis

B.J. nearly stepped into the role of a surrogate father for a Korean family, offering them a semblance of what he himself lacked. He spent so much time with them, seeking to compensate for his own distant life, that his medical performance began to decline, prompting Hawkeye’s concern for his well-being. "First," B.J. lamented, “they take me from my wife and child, and just when I find something to help fill the emptiness, they snatch that away as well.”
