Synopsis

Colonel Potter, observing that the camp had grown lax, instituted a rigorous calisthenics program. Finding the exercises met with little enthusiasm, he attempted to inject some spirit into the proceedings by dividing the company into two teams, who then competed for three days' leave. Meanwhile, Klinger devised a scheme to escape military service through deliberate weight gain.
