Synopsis

Sergeant Baker arrived at the camp, accompanied by his pet moose. Hawkeye, determined to see the creature gone, devised a series of schemes. First, he attempted a direct order for her release; then, an offer to purchase her outright; finally, he resorted to a little card-playing trickery. When releasing her proved insufficient – the moose simply refused to leave – Hawkeye found himself attempting to instill in her some semblance of self-reliance.
