Synopsis

A disagreement arose between Hawkeye and Frank regarding Frank’s skill at surgery. Then, Hawkeye undertook a particularly challenging operation, only to find the patient did not improve as expected. A shadow of doubt began to fall over Hawkeye's confidence, prompting him to leave The Swamp. Seeking a fresh start, he resolved to resume treating patients, and during one examination discovered a small tear in the colon – a flaw so subtle that even Frank conceded anyone might have overlooked it.
