Synopsis

Even in repose, Goemon’s focus remains fixed on the art of swordsmanship. A young woman named Naomi accepts one of the iron bars Goemon has prepared, wrapped in straw for practice cuts. Her grandfather, a master swordsmith, harbors a fervent desire to forge a katana surpassing even the legendary Zantetsuken. Naomi dedicates herself to aiding her grandfather, and together they uncover a secret of the famed blade: the intense heat used in its creation. But who truly wields the legendary weapon?
